Common Room: Light in the Tunnel is a creative wellbeing project by HoPEC, proudly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (Awards for All England) since 2023. The project offers a welcoming space where people can come together to reconnect, create, and grow. 

Through art, music, and hands-on workshops, participants rediscover confidence, purpose, and joy in everyday life. Designed with and for the Eastern European community in North London, Light in the Tunnel brings people out of isolation and helps them build meaningful connections — proving that creativity, compassion, and community can light even the darkest paths.
